Seven hundred years ago a farmer named Karuppiah Konnar was ploughing the land where the place like Dhargah Shareef stands today. On Seeing the splasing of fresh blood the farmer fainted and in his dream a saint appeared and said " I am Sheikh Dawood! My burriel ground is right here ! Ask the Musalmans in the near by Nachikulam village to build a memorial in my name in this place."
No other evidence is available about the Oliyulah except the above said incident.The miracles that happens to the people who flock at the Dhargah Shareef are countless. For all people the miracle happens in their dreams and in awakeness. They get salvation for their physical, mental and family problems everday.
